Deleting your GulfData account and data
GulfData (operated by Vector Retail Group Limited) lets you permanently delete your account and the personal data associated with it — either yourself in the app, or by request.
Option 1 — Delete it in the app (instant)
- Open the GulfData app.
- Go to the Profile tab → Settings.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
- Your account and its associated data are permanently deleted immediately.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you can't access the app, email support@gulfdata.io from the email address registered with GulfData, with the subject "Delete my account". We'll verify your request and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your account/profile details (email address, and any name or phone number)
- Your eSIM records (ICCID, plan, and activation/QR details)
- Your data-usage history
- Any pending sign-in codes
What is kept, and for how long
We retain records of completed orders and transactions (order number, plan, date, amount) for up to 6 years to meet UK legal, tax, and accounting obligations. These are kept for compliance only — not for marketing or to contact you — and our internal transaction logs hold no personal contact details.
