At GulfData.io, we aim to provide reliable, instant mobile data for travellers and expats worldwide. Because eSIMs are digital products delivered immediately, our refund policy is necessarily specific.

Please read this carefully before purchasing.


1. When You Are Eligible for a Refund

You may be eligible for a full refund if all of the following conditions are met:

  • The eSIM has not been installed, activated, or used

  • The QR code has not been scanned

  • The request is made within 30 days of purchase

  • You can provide your order number or purchase email

If these conditions are met, we will issue a full refund to the original payment method.


2. When Refunds Cannot Be Issued

Refunds cannot be provided in the following situations:

  • The eSIM has been installed or activated

  • Any amount of data has been used

  • The QR code has been scanned

  • The device is not compatible with eSIMs (customers are responsible for checking compatibility before purchase)

  • The eSIM was purchased for a destination where usage is restricted by local regulations

  • The issue is caused by incorrect device settings (e.g. APN, roaming disabled, outdated OS)

This is standard across the eSIM industry, as activated eSIMs cannot be reused or resold.


3. Service Issues & Connectivity Problems

If you experience connectivity issues that are clearly attributable to the eSIM itself (and not device configuration or local restrictions), please contact our support team before using significant data.

In verified cases, we may offer one of the following at our discretion:

  • a replacement eSIM

  • a partial refund

  • account credit for future use

Each case is reviewed individually.


4. Incorrect Purchases

If you purchased the wrong destination or plan and the eSIM has not been activated, contact us immediately. We will do our best to correct the issue or issue a refund where possible.


5. How to Request a Refund

  • your order number

  • the email used at checkout

  • a brief explanation of the issue

We aim to respond within 24 hours.


6. Chargebacks & Disputes

We strongly encourage customers to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback. Unnecessary chargebacks increase costs and may delay resolution.

Fraudulent or abusive refund requests may result in account restrictions.

By purchasing from GulfData.io, you acknowledge that eSIMs are digital goods delivered instantly and agree to this refund policy at checkout.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights where applicable.
